Motto 2025–2026: Think Global – Act Local

What does this motto mean for us, Lions members?
Our motto reminds us that our commitment to our local communities is an integral part of a global movement.
We are all members of Lions Clubs International, united by shared values and a global vision.
But it is our clubs, our initiatives, our local service activities that bring this spirit to life.

And how do we put it into practice?

1. Identification with Lions International
   Our vision and values are globally oriented, but their tangible realization takes place locally – in our Clubs and Zones.
2. Acting locally within the Club
   Each Club independently defines its commitment and carries out social projects that meet the specific needs of its own community.
3. Support from the District and Multiple District
   We receive tools and resources to use wisely, and benefit from the sharing of experiences among Clubs and members.

Our motto invites us to act courageously, locally, while keeping a global perspective.
Every commitment counts. In the Club, in the region – and in the world. Thank you!
